Angela Autumn’s second LP Believer lands September 11, 2026 via Gar Hole Records and finds the Nashville-based “Rose of Appalachia” loosening old‑time’s corset into psych, honky‑tonk and crooked pop — a move Bandcamp Daily flagged in its Album of the Day writeup (Brad Sanders / Bandcamp Daily).

The record is twelve tracks long (see the Bandcamp release for tracklist and credits) and was cut with Isaiah Beard (Baerd) in Nashville, with sessions at Club Roar and later overdubs adding strings and keyboards, per the label writeup (Bandcamp; BroadwayWorld).
We like this: Autumn actually sounds freed — her clawhammer banjo lands next to droning cello and rubbery bass rather than politely apologizing for it. Pitchfork also noted Believer in its new‑releases roundup (Pitchfork), but the record’s eccentric vocal quirks and genuine messiness are what stick.
